Ras malai   is a classic Indian dessert originating from the eastern part of India specially from Bengal. Rasmalai is a Bengali sweet dish where ' ras ' means juice and ' malai ' means cream prepared by absorbing the flat rasgullas in malai topped with dry fruits and saffron. It is extremely delightful, soft, and juicy making it the perfect dessert.  This Raksha Bandhan make this amazing tasty and easy homemade Ras Malai with simple indrigients. Its recipe is easy and comes under budget comprising of all the simple available ingredients with which you make make it at home itself.  Follow the simple recipe step by step and you will end up making the perfect soft ras malai at  home.  RECIPE: Ingredients- • Milk (2 packets 500ml each) [ for 6 Ras malai ] • Sugar ( 200g) • Cardamom powder ( 1tsp) • Dry fruits (Almonds, pistachios, cashews or any of your choice) • Saffron  • Vinegar/Lemon (2 tbsp) • Water (500ml) Recipe : For the Ras : 1. In a pan, heat 500 ml of toned milk

Prawn Curry Recipe | How to Make Quick & Spicy Prawn Curry |

PRAWN CURRY RECIPE-


Serve - 4
Preparation time - 15 mins
Cooking time - 20 minutes

Ingredients-

1.Prawn ( 200 gms)
2.Garlic paste (4 tbsp)
3.Onion paste(3 medium sizes)
4. Tomatoes ( 2 medium size)
5. Potatoes (2 big)
6.Cumin powder
7. Coriander powder
8.Turmeric powder
9.Bay leaves
10. Red chili powder
11. Mustard oil
12.Salt to taste
13.Water (2 cups)

Procedure-

1. Marinate the prawns with salt to taste,2 tsp turmeric powder,2 tsp red chili powder. Mix them well, cover it, and set aside for 15 mins.

2. Boil to big potatoes and fry them for 5 minutes on low flame and set aside. 

3. Make a paste of ginger-garlic, onion, and tomato separately. 

4. Heat mustard oil in a pan and fry the prawns on medium to high flame for 5-6 minutes until it gets soft and juicy and set them aside.

5. In the same pan, add a bit of more oil and to it add 1 tbsp of cumin seeds,2 bay leaves and give it a stir on low flame.

6. Add the ginger-garlic paste and cook it for 2 mins then add the onion paste again cook it till the oil separates. Add the tomato paste give it a stir, add the fried potatoes then cover it with lid for 6 minutes on low flame. 

7. Add 2 tbsp of coriander powder,1 tbsp of red chili powder, 2 tbsp of cumin powder, and 1 tbsp of turmeric powder. Again stir it nicely on medium flame.

8. When the oil separates add the fried prawn to it and stir it until all the prawns are well covered in the gravy on medium flame.

9. Add water according to your consistency. Keep stirring until the aroma becomes prominent. 

10. Garnish it give fresh coriander leaves (optional)

11. Tips- Cover and cook in-between at low flame for best results.
