Step by Step Rasmalai Recipe | How to Make Soft Rasmalai at Home |

Ras malai   is a classic Indian dessert originating from the eastern part of India specially from Bengal. Rasmalai is a Bengali sweet dish where ' ras ' means juice and ' malai ' means cream prepared by absorbing the flat rasgullas in malai topped with dry fruits and saffron. It is extremely delightful, soft, and juicy making it the perfect dessert.  This Raksha Bandhan make this amazing tasty and easy homemade Ras Malai with simple indrigients. Its recipe is easy and comes under budget comprising of all the simple available ingredients with which you make make it at home itself.  Follow the simple recipe step by step and you will end up making the perfect soft ras malai at  home.  RECIPE: Ingredients- • Milk (2 packets 500ml each) [ for 6 Ras malai ] • Sugar ( 200g) • Cardamom powder ( 1tsp) • Dry fruits (Almonds, pistachios, cashews or any of your choice) • Saffron  • Vinegar/Lemon (2 tbsp) • Water (500ml) Recipe : For the Ras : 1. In a pan, heat 500 ml of toned milk

Lobster Curry ( গলদা চিংড়ি কষা ) 🦐


This dish tastes out of the world. Lobsters have its own taste which makes it taste more delicious. I learnt this recipe from my grandmother who cooks lobsters extremely tasty. 


PREPARATION TIME- 15 MINUTES

SERVE-4

COOKING TIME- 1 HOUR 

INGREDIENTS-

• Lobsters (4)
• Ginger garlic paste. 
• Onion paste (2 medium)
• Tomato (2 small) 
• Red chilli powder
• Turmeric powder
• Coriander powder
• Cumin powder
• Garam masala
• Bay Leaves
• Cardamom
• Cinnamon sticks
• Mustard oil
• Water ( 2 cups)
• Salt to taste

RECIPE-

Step 1- 'MARINATE THE LOBSTERS'
Marinate the lobsters with turmeric powder and salt to taste,cover and set aside.Make paste of ginger garlic, Onion, tomato separately set aside. 

Step 2-
Heat 6 tbsp of mustard oil in a pan. Fry the lobsters for 5mins on medium flame.Be careful as oil may split.

Step 3-
In the same pan,add 2 cardamoms,2 cinnamon sticks.Stir it for a minute. Add ginger garlic paste cook it untill oil separates.Add the onion paste cook it for another 3 minutes,add tomato paste to it add coriander powder, cumin powder and red chilli powder. Cook everything for 5-6 minutes on low to medium flame till oil separates (Cover with lid in between).

Step 4-
Add the lobsters into the gravy carefully so as they do not break.Add 1 cup water stir it for a few minutes. Add 1tbsp garam masala,give it a stir.Infuse them well in the gravy, cover it with a lid and cook for 6 minutes on low flame.

Step 5-
In a pressure cooker,pour everything,add another cup of water, give 2 wristles.

Step 6-
Cook everything on a kadhai on medium flame for 6-7 minutes for the lobsters to get soft and tender.

Tips- Cooking on low to medium flame covering with a lid in between helps the ingredients taste better and lobsters to become tender and soft.
