HOME MADE KULFI 🍨

During scorching heat of Summer we all crave for Kulfi ice-cream. From my very childhood I grew up eating kulfis from the kulfiwala uncle whose savour I will always cherish.
Sharing it's simple recipe, hope you like it as I did!

COOKING TIME- 30-40 minutes
SERVE- 4

INGREDIENTS-

• Milk (500 ml)
• Milk powder (4 tbsp)
• Cardamon(2)
• Cashew nuts (7-8)
• Sugar (4 tbsp)
• A pinch of salt.

RECIPE-

1. In a saucepan, boil 500ml of whole fat milk on medium flame.

2. Mix 4tbsp of sugar, give it a stir.

3. In a cup, add half cup milk (use the same milk which you are boiling),add 4 tbsp of milk powder, mix untill there's no lumps. Pour it in the milk.

4. With help of a stone pestle grind 7-8 cashew nuts and 2 cardamons.Add them to the milk.

5. Keep stirring the milk on medium flame.(If you are working put the flame on low and stir in between).

6. When the milk gets 'semi condensed' ( medium thick),switch off the flame, let it get cooled.

7. Pour it in kulfi containers or if you don't have one you can simply pour it in an airtight tiffin box as I used. Freeze it for atleast 8-10 hours.

8. Garnish it with your choice of dry fruits ( pistachios, cashews, peanuts, resins anything that you have) and enjoy! :)
